We would like to say a big thank you to all of you that attended our Firework Display, it was a great success and we raised just over £1600. We’ve already booked it again for next year, on the 1st November again, (which is a Friday next year)
We have four events coming up in December
Non-uniform Day Monday 3rd December 2018
Children can wear non-uniform this day for a donation of boxed chocolates or a bottle of wine, this is to go towards our tombola that we will be running at our meet Father Christmas afternoon on Tuesday 11th December.
AGM 4th December 2018 at 2.30pm
The PTA will be holding an AGM meeting, all parents are welcomed to join us, and we will discuss finances (money raised last year and how it was spent) and selecting the new committee members. We will also be discussing how we will spend the money raised at the Firework Display and the forth coming events in December.
Gift Stall Thursday 6th December 2018
This is a chance for children to buy gifts for mums, dads and other significant adults in their lives, there will be a selection for children to choose from and have gift wrapped. The prices range from £1.50 - £2.50. Children need to make sure that they bring their money in on the day. However, if they forget, providing there are gifts left, they may have the chance to buy on Friday 7th from the school office.
Meet Father Christmas
This year we are working hard with St Paul’s to try to have different events. So we will be scaling down our Christmas Fair and having a ‘meet Santa Claus’ event instead. Refreshments and cakes will be on sale and there will be a few small stalls. Of course there will be a chance for the children to meet Father Christmas in his Grotto. The tickets to meet Father Christmas will be on sale from the office price £1.50 from Monday 3rd December 2018. Tickets will not be sold on the day so please make sure you have a ticket to avoid disappointment. If you have any unwanted gifts for our tombola or good condition cuddle soft toys for pull a toy then please bring them into the office.
All the children enjoyed our Valentines Disco earlier this month, including the Boys v Girls Dance Off competition! The PTA raised £753 from our Valentines Disco. Thank you for everyone that helped make it a great success!
Last but not least any parents who would like to help out at any of these events, then please just let the office know. It is a chance to come into school and meet the members of the PTA both staff and parents and is has been an enjoyable time for those that has been before.
Many thanks for all your help.
From the PTA
