School Uniform
We expect pupils to arrive at school looking smart and tidy. The school uniform consists of:
- A white polo shirt and either a sweatshirt or cardigan in navy
- Matching black or grey socks with trousers or shorts or grey or black tights or white socks with skirts and dresses.
- In warmer weather a blue summer dress can also be worn.
- Shoes should be flat and black school shoes with a strap or laces.
- All pupils who have long hair to have it tied back off of their face (small blue hair accessories only). We ask that the children not have lines or patterns shaved into their hair and hair not be dyed.
- Only stud earrings should be worn at school.
- No nail varnish should be worn to school.
PE kit consists of:
- a white t-shirt
- navy or black shorts
- trainers.
- In colder weather, we recommend that children also have joggers and a hoodie.
Children should not wear football shirts or clothes with large logos, such as Nike or Adidas branding.
Earrings are not permitted to be worn during PE and must be removed before PE lessons. If your child is unable to remove their earrings, please contact a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

School uniform can be ordered through the school office, by filling in the form available in reception or you can download a copy with the prices here. If the uniform is in stock and has been paid for, we will send it home with your child/ren. Otherwise, as soon as it is in stock, we will contact you. Please make cheques payable to North Borough Junior School.
We also have limited second-hand uniform at a reduced price which can be ordered through the school office. Please call or come to reception to enquire about availability.
