2023 KS2 SATS Results

The Chair of Governors and I would like to share our fantastic 2023 SATS results with you.

During the academic year 2022-23, our Year 6 pupils took their year 6 SATS tests in line with the National Curriculum objectives.  Pupils raw test scores were converted into scaled scores to decide whether pupils had met the expected standard for the end of Key Stage 2.

In order to achieve the Expected Standard for Year 6, a pupil must have a scaled score of 100 or more in reading, grammar, spelling & punctuation and mathematics; and have been teacher assessed in writing as ‘working at the expected standard’ or ‘working at greater depth within the expected standard’. In order to achieve the Higher Standard at the end of Key Stage 2, a pupil must have a high scaled score in reading and high scaled score in mathematics; and have been teacher assessed in writing as ‘working at a greater depth’. A high scaled score refers to scores of 110 and over.

We are very proud of all the staff and leadership team who worked together to ensure that we can be the best that we can be.

We also need to congratulate teachers and staff in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 who have also ensured high standards in attainment and progress, which provides pupils with an excellent education before they sit their SATS in Year 6.

Our Senior Leadership Team, Extended Leadership Team, teachers, teaching assistants, governors and support staff work exceptionally hard to ensure that we provide our pupils with an excellent education in an excellent learning environment.

We would like to thank all of the parents and carers who support us as a school and we look forward to informing you of further success during this academic year.
