Please find below letter and information we have sent out regarding Year 2 Transition.

 

 

 Transition Throughout the Year

If your child is joining us in Year 3 from a different school, please get in touch with the school office to discuss which transition events your child can attend.

Year 2 and 3 Reading Cafe

Year 2 joined Year 3 on Thursday 5th March to celebrate World Book Day. Year 3 set up a reading cafe outside and the children enjoyed some great books and stories together. This was the first transition activity of the year where Year 2 came over to North Borough and it was a great success! 

 

Our next event will be the Year 3 Roman Museum on Tuesday 2nd April.

You'll most likely see Mrs Borland in the office. She is very friendly and can help you with lots of things, including school dinners, uniform or finding out about clubs.

This will be your normal route into school in the morning once you have settled in. You can say goodbye to your adult at the gate and come into school with your friends. Miss Taylor will be waiting at the door for you with her very smiley face.

Our Outdoor Areas

This is the top playground. This is where you can spend some of your time during breaktime and lunchtime. We have markings on this playground to help you run, walk or skip the Daily Mile

This is the quiet area. The Nurture team are in this area to help with any problems you may have on the playground. This is a nice , quiet shady spot to relax in, especially on sunny days.

You'll also find our outdoor gym and trim trail which can be played on at breaktime and lunchtime. You can also see the middle and bottom playground here.
